Brendan has over 20 years of experience as a registered paramedic, including 7 years spent within Wellington, offering him a thorough understanding of our local community. Due to his extensive medical career, Brendan provides profound knowledge and skills surrounding crisis care which allows him to demonstrate rapid decision-making skills, leading to more effective practices and positive outcomes. Brendan’s expertise in streamlining operations and gaining optimum performance through the development of a cohesive team of employees has proven for him to be a great addition to lead Maranatha House since he began his role as 'CEO' in September 2020.

With a master’s degree in finance and accounting, Aejaz oversees all operations of Maranatha House. Aejaz is committed to the evolution of Maranatha and has become an advocate for professional growth amongst employees, by providing them with regular opportunities to upskill, ensuring the enhancement of care available to Maranatha residents. Through the implementation of a thorough recruitment procedure and a stringent rostering process. Aejaz ensures a continuous high-quality care standard remains available. Aejaz is proactive in his management approach and is able to maintain a high level of staff morale, leading to higher job satisfaction and lower staff turnover, which greatly benefits residents through the continuity of care and allows for the foundation of stronger relationships between residents and staff.
Narelle Ford
Clinical Care Manager
Narelle Ford
Narelle began working with Maranatha House in May 2021, working as an advisor appointed by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission before moving into her current role as the Clinical Care Manager in January 2022.
Narelle boasts an extensive career spanning over 50 years and has worked in various care roles including multiple Aged Care, rehabilitation, and cancer services. Narelle successfully completed the role of Project Manager of the Capitol Regent Cancer Services in the ACT and spent significant time working as the Wellington Health Services Manager.
As our Clinical Care Manager, Narelle oversees all clinical operations, working alongside our dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Carer staff. Narelle shows a high level of care and compassion toward the residents and their families and has demonstrated that she is a highly valued asset to Maranatha House and the community.

Rathna oversees the operation of Catering, Maintenance, Cleaning, and Laundry. Rathna’s devotion to providing Maranatha House residents with the highest quality services is unparalleled. Her tertiary degree in planning and management is demonstrated through the quality of her team and the high level of expectation required.

Saima Kanwal
With a tertiary education in commerce and accounting, Saima manages all finance operations. Her extensive knowledge of economics is demonstrated through her meticulous approach to the finances of Maranatha House.

The Lifestyle and Leisure Team
Consisting of a multitude of diverse roles our Lifestyle and Leisure team are responsible for maintaining high levels of comfort and wellness. The team is passionate in advocating for the resident’s wellbeing and through the leadership of Linda Sarsfield, they go above and beyond in creating activities that cater to the interest and capabilities of all residents.
Kerry Robbins who exhibits extensive knowledge, compassion, and nurturing care towards our high care residents is appointed as Dementia Care Supervisor.

Our hard-working team, work collaboratively with each other and with the residents to ensure all their cleaning and laundry needs are met to an exceptional standard whilst prioritizing the comfort of the residents. Their dedication to providing clean, fresh, and orderly living spaces is commended through the thanks and appreciation of the residents.

The catering team, led by our Hospitality Manager Rathna Devy provides our residents with Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Supper, and any other food and beverage requirements the residents’ desire. Residents are served high-quality, appetizing food choices in which they can enjoy in our expansive dining rooms or the comfort of their private room.

Our enthusiastic maintenance team is committed to their role, ensuring Maranatha House and the surrounding grounds remain safe and accessible to residents of all abilities. They take pride in their position as groundskeepers to maintain an environment that is visually appealing and welcoming to the residents and their families. The team goes above and beyond and can often be found assisting residents on their outings and helping to drive the bus.
